'Crust & Ember Pizzeria began with a simple dream: to bring true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Wilson family in the mid-1980s, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run spot with recipes passed down through generations.

Oliver Wilson, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making while exploring Italy and apprenticing with master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Upon returning to the UK, she aimed to recreate the magic of authentic Italian pizza, using time-honored methods and top-quality ingredients.

What began as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has blossomed into a cherished local landmark, yet our dedication to excellence and authenticity remains unwavering. We still employ traditional wood-fired oven techniques, prepare dough fresh daily, and source only the finest ingredients available.

Today, 'Crust & Ember Pizzeria] remains family-owned and operated, with the second generation of the Wilson family now guiding our dedicated team. While we’ve embraced some modern refinements, the essence of our business stays the same: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
